Dr. Mofid received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Harvard University. He completed his medical degree, training in general surgery and plastic surgery and an advanced craniofacial research fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Mofid is currently a staff surgeon at several hospitals in the San Diego and La Jolla area, including Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, and Palomar Medical Center in Escondido. Dr. Mofid is a clinical faculty member of the University of California, San Diego's Division of Plastic Surgery. His publications on breast and facial surgery have been featured in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a journal recognized by surgeons nationwide. Dr. Mofid has presented at numerous medical conferences both in the United States and internationally. Dr. Mofid is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Besides working in San Diego and La Jolla as a plastic surgeon, he is dedicated to providing patients with reconstructive surgery, including facial reconstruction following skin cancer removal, post-trauma facial injury repair, post-mastectomy breast reconstruction, and microsurgery.

With more than 15 years of experience as a cosmetic coordinator, Setara is among the most experienced in her field. In addition to her gentle approach with patients and thorough knowledge of plastic surgery procedures, she is known for her command of patient imaging techniques that assist with the planning of surgery. She received her bachelor's degree in administration from San Diego State University in 1997.
A graduate of Paul Mitchell Cosmetology, Danielle is a licensed aesthetician, has additional experience in coordinating hospital-based patient care and speaks fluent Spanish. Known for her enthusiasm and verve, Danielle was a cheerleader in high school and college.
A native of Northern California, Nicole has lived in 8 different states. As a former high school cheerleader and a marine, she is known for her polite demeanor, organizational skills and diligence. A lover of the outdoors and fitness, she is an accomplished figure skater and an expert snowboarder.
Originally trained in pediatric nursing, Jessica is known for her warm and caring approach to patient care, as well as the positive energy that she brings to the practice. She is a native of Boston and received her BSN degree in 2002 from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. She excels in providing postoperative patient care and in performing laser hair removal and vein treatments.
As a 5th generation nurse in her family, Heather is known for being naturally caring, compassionate, and friendly. These traits help create a comfortable environment for her patients during laser hair and vein treatments. Born and raised in Southern California, she graduated from San Diego State University with a nursing degree in 2004. She currently attends the University of San Diego where she receives advanced training and instruction to become a nurse practitioner.
